Problem: Screen shows "OPEN" when drawer is closed

  1. When you unpack the air fryer, remove each drawer and check for any visible signs of damage
  2. Place the air fryer on a flat surface close to a power outlet
  3. Connect the air fryer to the power outlet
  4. Switch on the power to the air fryer
  5. Air fryer screen will illuminate and then return to standby
  6. Press the on button as shown in the instruction booklet
  7. With both drawers closed, the screen should not show the word "OPEN"
  8. If the screen shows one or more OPEN indicators, but the drawers are fully closed then please contact KönigChef customer service via the "Get Product Support" option next to the order on Amazon and you will be quickly supplied with a replacement drawer within 24-48hrs.

The most common cause of this issue is damage caused to an air fryer basket during transit to you. Please check the drawer at the front, top right area to see if the plastic lug is intact.
